Tottenham’s Richarlison responds to rumours linking him with a player plus cash agreement for Newcastle’s Alexander Isak

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with several forward players this summer transfer window, with reports enlisting that Ange Postecoglou wants to add striking fire-power to his team proceeding into the new season. Even though Spurs fans know that Richarlison has the potential to lead the front line for Spurs going ahead, somehow his persistent injury worries have halted him from doing so ever since he arrived at a hefty price tag of £60 million from Everton a couple of years back.

Spurs have been linked with players like Ivan Toney, Jacob Ramsey, and Jonathan David, but anything advanced is yet to come out on the official font regarding their interests in these players. Earlier a rumored report by Italian journalist – ‘Gianluca Di Marzio’, surfaced that Tottenham might be involved in a player-plus cash deal for Richarlison.

The player and club in talk here were reported to be Newcastle United and their striker Alexander Isak (as per ‘Football London’). However, a twist in the tale came, when Richarlison himself shrugged off the report by terming it as “Fake” and commenting on it. This immediately killed the fragmentation of any sort of deal being planned by Spurs’ hierarchy.

Even though Richarlison hasn’t managed to hit his stride at the North London club till now, Spurs fans still believe that Ange Postecoglou will give him another chance in the upcoming season. However, Spurs might bring in another attacker this window since the manager would need a cover considering Richarlison’s injury concerns.
