Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement for South Korean winger as medical tests to follow
As per football transfer market expert and renowned Journalist ‘Fabrizio Romano’, Tottenham Hotspur has reached an agreement with Gangwon FC for South Korean winger Min-hyuk Yang. The medical tests for the player will soon follow from here on, with the Premier League club looking to seal his signature in the coming days.
Min-hyuk Yang is termed to be one of the rising talents in the K (Korean) League 1. He is a winger who is quite pacy and powerful with exceptional skills on the ball. A player of his capability could perfectly match the brand of football Ange Postecoglou wants to play at Spurs.
In the last season for Gangwon FC in the K League, the 18-year-old had 10 goal contributions to his tally. Now, Spurs have been quite successful when it comes to getting South Korean talent into the first team and nurturing them to be Premier League superstars. Son Heung-Min serves as a perfect example of this.
While Spurs have options on the wing, Min-hyuk Yang is expected to strengthen Postecoglou’s squad depth leading into the new season. If signed, he may have to make his way into the playing eleven slowly and gradually. However, seeing his progress since joining Gangwon, he does look like a player tailor-made for the Premier League. It remains to be seen how Big Ange inculcates him into the first-team roster.
