Tottenham Hotspur keen to extended Son Heung-min’s contract

Tottenham Hotspur are planning to activate the extension clause of their South Korean International Son Heung-min for one more season, with current agreement is about to expire in the summer of 2025.

Previously, the forward had signed a four-year deal in 2021, However, there is a release clause on his pre-existing contract that allows the English club to extend his stay for an additional 12 months.

According to transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League club have begun the process of extending their partnership with the 32-year-old for at least one more season until June 2026. Following the departure of Harry Kane, Son has established his prominence as their star player and was given the captainship role at Spurs.

The winger had joined the North London club in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen. Moreover, he has drawn the attention of the Saudi Pro League clubs, with the Middle Eastern clubs keeping tabs on his contract situation.
