Steven Gerrard Set to Leave Al-Ettifaq!

Apparently, it’s the last season for Steven Gerrard in Saudi Arabia because some recent sources noted that he is going to leave Al-Ettifaq. He was appointed the head coach of the Saudi Pro League side in July 2023 but the relationship between both parties seems to be an acrimonious one.

Signings of Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum failed to help Al-Ettifaq to meet their expectations and as a result, Gerrard’s future is uncertain. Now that there are rumors of an exit, the question that comes to mind is — Where is Stevie Gerrard headed next? Will he go back to management in Europe or can another challenging project sway him?

On the other hand, Al-Ettifaq will be searching for a new champion to lead their team in the right direction.
