Stefan Bajcetic ‘more likely’ to leave Liverpool than ‘staying’

Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic is expected to sanction a move and is reportedly wanted by his former club Celta Vigo on a season-long deal. The 19-year-old was out for the entirety of the 2023/24 season and managed just one Premier League appearance.

He was expected to play a key role under new boss Arne Slot this summer, but instead, has found himself on the periphery for most of the summer transfer window. Bajcetic is definitely not short of suitors as plenty of clubs having already shown interest in the teenage midfielder.

The young midfielder has three years left on his Liverpool contract and a temporary exit is on the cards for the U-21 Spanish international.
