Southampton plotting a move for Aaron Ramsdale

The Saints are reportedly preparing a loan move for Arsenal outcast Aaron Ramsdale, who lost his No.1 spot to David Raya last season. He made only six Premier League appearances in 2023-24 and is desperate to make a move away from the Emirates.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has fallen out-of-favour at the North London club and wants to join a club where he would be guaranteed first-team football. Southampton are preparing a loan bid for Ramsdale and have reportedly proposed a £2.5 million loan fee with 80% of his wages covered.
