Southampton eyes Arsenal star after Bijlow deal falls through

Southampton are reportedly eyeing a move to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal. The Premier League newcomers are keen on getting a goalkeeper but had their deal for Bijlow fall through.

Ramsdale has been looking to leave Arsenal but has not found a club yet. The Englishman has been second fiddle for David Raya since the start of last season and was desperate to leave in January as well.

Southampton are now offering him an escape route and Arsenal have agreed on a deal with Joan Garcia as his replacement. The Gunners are open to letting the goalkeeper leave this summer on loan but with an obligation to buy clause added in the contract.
