Southampton considering loan move for Aaron Ramsdale

The Saints are interested in signing Arsenal outcast Aaron Ramsdale, who lost his starting spot to David Raya last summer. The England international is seeking regular first-team football and is poised to make a move in this summer transfer window.

His future at the Emirates remains uncertain, as he was restricted to only two games in the Premier League last season. Newly promoted Southampton are open to negotiating a loan deal for Ramsdale. It will be interesting to see if he still remains on Arsenal’s books close to the end of the month.

But, Arsenal prefer to keep Ramsdale as the perfect backup to Raya and would only favour a permanent departure this summer for the England shot-stopper if it comes to that.
