Serie A fixture arrangements: The Italian league will not have a winter break in its 2024-25 season
Serie A has reportedly released its fixtures arrangements, kick-off schedule, and important dates for the 2024-25 top-flight Italian football season. The league will witness its full fixture release later on July 04, 2024. The Serie A 2024-25 season will kick off on August 18 this time around.
The Italian league will witness four breaks throughout its 2024-25 campaign. These breaks will be directed towards the required international football schedule. September 8, October 13, November 17, 2024, and March 23, 2025, have been termed as the breaking periods by the Italian league for its new season.
As far as the midweek matches are concerned, the Serie A will only have one mid-week match scenario in its upcoming season. It will be reportedly held on the second last day of October 2024. One of the major news that has come across is that the Serie A 2024-25 campaign wouldn’t possess any winter break. It will witness matches played across the New Year and Christmas duration.
The domestic competition of Coppa Italia will commence on August 4, 2024. The final of the prestigious competition is scheduled to be held on May 14, 2025, in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico. Inter Milan went on to lift the Serie A title in its previous edition of the 2023-24 season.
Inter Milan finished at the top spot with 94 points to its tally lifting the trophy by having a significant lead of 19 points over fierce rivals and second-placed AC Milan.
