Saudi Pro League Al Hazem Club Overview

The Al Hazem Club belongs to the city of Ar Rass located in Saudi Arabia. The club has red, yellow, and blue as its home colors. Al-Hazem has secured the title of Saudi Third Division during the 1997/98 season. It stood as a runner-up during the 1999/2000 season of Saudi Second division. Repeatedly, the club secured another title in the Saudi First Division during the 2004/05 season and got its promotion to the Saudi Pro League.

However, after becoming a part of the Saudi Pro League Al Hazem hasn’t performed quite well in the tournament and after spending 6 years in it, the club finally got relegated. However, at the regional level tournaments, the club has shown its domination by winning the Al-Qassim Regional League for a record 9 times during the seasons- 1967–68, 1969–70, 1970–71, 1971–72, 1980–81, 1984–85, 1990–91, 1994–95, and 1997–98. The major focus of the team is towards building up strong minor and junior division players so that the team could enhance its Saudi Pro League rankings and further ensure that in the coming 5 years, the team becomes eligible to give tough fights to the other top-notch teams of the league.
