HISTORY OF THE CLUB
The Al Nassr club came into existence in the year 1955. The team has a historic recognition through blue and yellow colours. The team was established by Zeid Al-Jaba. During the 1960s the Club merely participated in the amateur level club games. However, after their registration was completed, they began to play in the 2nd division of the league. During the year 1963, the Club finally entered into the prestigious 1st Division Club of teams.
During the 1970s the club saw its apex rise with 3 federation cups, 3 crown prince cups, and 3 king’s cups due to the great contribution made by the world-famous trio of Majed Abdullah, Fahd Al-Herafy, and Mohaisn Al-Jam’aan. The trio later came to be called the Golden Trio and provided the greatest thrust a rising team needed to come under the limelight of Saudi Arabian football.
