Reportedly, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is looking to bolster his defence with a new left-back in the summer. The position is a priority for the Portuguese tactician who seeks a player perfectly suited to his style of play and also due to the lack of options in the current squad.

Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies is the desired candidate for the role however, his possibilities to move to Old Trafford are difficult, reports Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Another option for the Premier League club is AC Milan’s Theo Hernández who is also being closely watched by Manchester United’s recruiters as a suitable choice. The French International is under contract with Serie A giants until 2026.
