Rennes interested in Barcelona youngster Mikayil Faye

Barcelona have been approached by Ligue 1 club Rennes for 20-year-old defender Mikayil Faye, who has been linked with an exit. Manager Hansi Flick does not consider the defender in his plans in the future.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Rennes have tabled an offer of €10m for the defender, which would also include a sell-on clause of around 20-25%. It is reported that the French club earlier made €7m for Mikayil Faye, which was swiftly rejected.

The Catalan giants believe the Senegal international might still have a future at the Camp Nou, which is why they want to include a buy-back clause in the deal.
