Real Madrid target Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have reported that Real Madrid have identified Inter Milan’s Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni as their preferred choice as a replacement for Nacho, who left the club this summer.
Bastoni was impressive for Inter last season, playing 37 games and providing one goal and four assists along with his impressive defending as a full-back and some times, as a centre-back.
He had an average of 1.6 tackles, 0.8 interceptions and 1.5 clearances per game in Serie A. Bastoni was also accurate with his ball distribution as he managed completing 89.8% of his attempted passes in the Italian top tier (stats via whoscored).
Bastoni is contracted to Inter until 2028, which makes this a tough transfer for Los Blancos.
