A recent report by ‘Football Insider‘ has laid out that Premier League club Liverpool are confident of tying down Trent Alexander-Arnold with a new contract and extending his stay at the Merseyside.
The England international’s current contract with the club darts till June 2025, and if he doesn’t pen a new one, he will be a free agent at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Various reports have pointed out that La Liga’s Real Madrid have Trent high on their list of potential targets and the Los Blancos are keeping the tabs on the player’s situation at Liverpool.
However, Real Madrid is more likely to wish to poach Trent Alexander-Arnold when his contract at the Reds expires next season. So, the report of the Premier League club being confident of getting the 25-year-old right back to pen a new deal will come along as a sour one for Los Blancos.
