Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Talks Mbappe: Is a Superstar Shake-Up Imminent?
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo has expressed optimism about Kylian Mbappe potentially joining the club. The Brazilian further described it as a “happy problem” for manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Rodrygo on Mbappe Joining Real Madrid
Reports have circulated for weeks about Mbappe’s anticipated departure from Paris Saint-Germain to join Los Blancos in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Despite no official confirmation from the French international, signs point to his exit with PSG coach Luis Enrique occasionally sidelining him in recent matches.
Mbappe’s frustration was evident when he was substituted against Marseille. This further fuels speculation about his move to La Liga for the 2024-25 season. Real Madrid currently leads the league by eight points after securing a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao.
Considering Mbappe’s potential arrival Rodrygo reflected on the implications for his own role within the team. He acknowledged the uncertainty, stating, “I still don’t know about Mbappe… but I’m only focused on Real Madrid.”
Regarding the competition for positions, Rodrygo emphasized, “If Mbappe comes, I will be benched? It will be a happy problem for the manager.”
