Real Madrid reject 100 million bid for Eder Militao

Real Madrid went big in this ongoing summer transfer window. The defending La Liga & UEFA Champions League winners secured their long-time target Kylian Mbappe along with the sensational Brazilian wonderkid Endrick. The club is set to kick-off their season formally with a game against Mallorca. But prior to this, it has been learned that some star players are being targeted by the rich clubs of the Saudi Pro League.

As per UOLEsporte, the Spanish giants have received mammoth offers for two of their first-team stars. According to the outlet, a Saudi Pro League club, who’s name hasn’t been out, has offered over €100 million to Real Madrid for their Brazilian centre-back Eder Militao. However, the Galacticos have rejected the gigantic bid for the 26-year-old.

Militao has been an integral part of Real Madrid since 2019 and has a contract till 2028. The player has featured in 156 games for the Spanish side ever since his arrival from FC Porto. He missed a chunk of the matches last season due to a serious cruciate ligament tear. But, he is fully fit now and recently helped the club clinch the UEFA Super Cup.

The rejection of such a mammoth transfer fee states the fact that Militao will be an integral part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans in this season and the future ahead. Real Madrid had also rejected a bizarre giant bid of over 1 billion Euros for Vinicius Jr from a Saudi Pro League team.
