Real Madrid interested in Liverpool and Arsenal’s defensive transfer target

Los Blancos are heavily reported to be interested in Borussia Dortmund star Nico Schlotterbeck after their prime target Leny Yoro moved to Manchester United.

Schlotterbeck was one of the key figures that propelled Borussia Dortmund to reach the UEFA Champions League last season and it is said that Real Madrid’s senior figures were left impressed by his performance throughout the season.

According to German outlet Bild (via Get German Football News), Real Madrid are showing interest in the talented centre-back, who was a part of Germany’s squad at Euro 2024.

Los Blancos head scout Juni Calafat is said to be playing an integral role to try and convince Real Madrid’s hierarchy to sign the player, who has been heavily linked with moves to Arsenal and Liverpool in the past.
