RCB Women vs MI Women Head-to-Head Record
There is not a lot to choose between these two teams in the head-to-head record over the past couple of seasons with MI edging RCB 3-2 as per the history books. What started as a lopsided rivalry with MI winning the first three encounters is now much more even with RCB coming back to win the next two ones including the Eliminator in the previous season which ended MI’s dreams of defending their title.

RCB-W vs MI-W Pitch Report & Weather Conditions
High-scoring venue
Chinnaswamy is traditionally known for fours and sixes and the batters tend to have a gala time whenever there is action here. Short boundaries, fast outfield, and a true batting wicket are a batter’s friend and Chinnaswamy has them all.
Dew Factor
It will be interesting to see whether dew plays a role or not. Generally, one can expect dew to set in during the second half of the match and if that happens it could be tough work for the side bowling second.

RCB would like to stick with their winning 11 from the previous game. Unless there is any injury concern at the last moment, don’t expect them to tinker with their winning combination.

Team | Matches Won (out of last 5) | Matches Lost (out of last 5) |
RCB Women | 5 | 0 |
MI Women | 2 | 3 |
Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women
Defending champions RCB have been terrific so far winning both their matches and are firmly placed at the top of the points table. Their batting line-up is one of the most dangerous ones in the tournament and the best thing for them before they start their home leg is that pretty much all of their batters have a score under their belt.
If it was Richa Ghosh‘s heroics in the first game along with valuable contributions from Kanika and Perry, skipper Mandhana stepped up the gas in the second game with an 84-run knock and sealed an easy chase as she stitched a century partnership with her opening partner Danielle Wyatt-Hodge.
With the ball, Renuka Singh Thakur has the purple cap on her head with 5 wickets so far. The likes of Georgia Wareham and Ekta Bisht have stepped up in the absence of key names. All-in-all, they look a well-rounded unit.
Mumbai Indians Women
After a rusty performance in the season opener where they lost the match that they should have won, MI seemed to have found their mojo back in their second game as they brushed aside the home team GG. Nat Sciver-Brunt has been on the top of her game with both bat and ball and it was a welcome return to form for all-rounder Hayley Matthews who was also the player of the match in their last game.
Foreigners Shabnam Ismail and Amelia Kerr have been doing their jobs as well, if the Indian talent, including skipper Harmanpreet who has not had the impact she can have so far, can stand up then MI would be really tough to beat.
MI-W vs RCB-W Toss Prediction: MI to win and bowl first
Captains winning the toss generally have no hesitation to bowl first at Chinnaswamy and given the way this year’s tournament has panned out in Baroda with chasing sides winning all six matches, you can pretty much be guaranteed that the skipper who wins the toss will have a bowl.
RCB-W vs MI-W Score Prediction
Considering the average first-innings score of 152 and the fact that both these teams have many high-quality international batters in their line-ups, a first-innings score of around 170-180 could be expected in the match.
RCB-W vs MI-W Players to Perform Prediction
Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women
- Ellyse Perry – The Australian all-rounder has an exceptional record against MI and she was the POTM in both the matches that RCB won against MI last year. She has the best-ever figures in WPL, 6/15 which came against the same opponent in 2024, it is a different thing that she has not bowled so far in this season. With the bat too she has scores of 66, 40*, 44*, 29 and 13 in 5 matches against them with an exceptional average of 64.
- Smriti Mandhana – The RCB skipper has been in scintillating form off-late and is coming off an 84-run knock against GG in the previous match. Even though she has not had a great time against MI in the past, you won’t put it past her to get a big score in this match.
- Georgia Wareham – The Aussie all-rounder is a pivotal figure in the RCB lineup, specially in the bowling department with the likes of Asha Sobhana and Shreyanka Patil missing. She picked up 3 wickets in the previous match and will be crucial in this match as well.
Mumbai Indians Women
- Nat Sciver-Brunt – The English all-rounder has picked up 8 wickets in 5 matches against RCB and has a highest score of 55* against them. She already has scores of 80* and 57 in this season’s two games along with 3 wickets, expect her to continue the same form.
- Amelia Kerr – The Kiwi leg spinner already has two POTM awards in 5 matches against RCB and she could be a player to watch out in this fixture as well. She already has 4 wickets in this season so far and is MI’s second-highest wicket-taker in this season.
- Harmanpreet Kaur – MI and India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur can be a match-winner on her own if she gets going as she has shown on multiple occasions. She has scores of 42 and 4 so far in this season and will be itching for a big knock.
