Raheem Sterling’s entourage affirms commitment to Chelsea

Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling is set to remain at the club, confirmed his entourage. The forward had missed their Premier League opener against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge today and his representatives demanded clarity on his future with the Blues.

They had said earlier that Sterling had a good working relationship with Chelsea’s new coach Enzo Maresca, while there was an “expectation” that he would start today’s game too. In their official statement, it was also mentioned that Sterling remains committed to delivering his best for Chelsea, and extended their support for the player in starting the new season on a positive note.

After seven years at City, Sterling joined Chelsea in 2022 and has since made 81 appearances in all competitions, including 59 in the Premier League. He’s amassed 19 goals in total and assisted a further 12.
