PSG Secure Back-to-Back Ligue 1 Titles

PSG have once again secured the Ligue 1 title in the 2024-2025 season which makes it their 13th title overall and 11th in last 13 seasons. Luis Enrique’s side has won the title remaining unbeaten in the league this season on the 28th matchday with 74 points winning 23 matches, five draws and zero losses. This happened when PSG beat Angers 1-0 courtesy of Desire Doue’s goal in the 55th minute.

Meanwhile, AS Monaco are in second place with 50 points with 28 games played and even if they win all of their remaining games they can only reach 71 points. Paris fans were already chanting “We are the champions” before the full-time whistle was blown.

Impact of Key PSG Players

It is obvious that the entire team, staff at PSG have played a key role in them winning the league title however some players play a key role and are a core part of the team. These players are namely Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele.

Bradley Barcola played a key role in PSG’s title run this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists in 28 Ligue 1 appearances. Ousmane Dembele on the other hand, has found his form at PSG under Luis Enrique, whereas he was struggling to find consistency at FC Barcelona. The French winger has scored 21 goals and provided six assists in 26 Ligue 1 appearances. He is currently the top scorer of Ligue 1 as well, which signifies his impact during the season.
