In the high-stakes UEFA Nations League clash, Scotland stunned Poland with a late goal beating them 2-1 on home soil to stage a dramatic turnaround in the standings of Group 1, League A. It was a battle for third place to avoid the automatic relegation to League B at Kazimierz Górski National Stadium in Warsaw.

For Scots, John McGinn opened the account early within five minutes only for the hosts to level the score in the latter half courtesy of Kamil Piatkowski’s cracking shot from outside of the box.
