Pedro Neto agrees deal to join Chelsea
The Portuguese winger has passed his medical with Chelsea and the club has agreed to pay an initial £51.3m with £2.6m in add-ons to Wolverhampton Wanderers for his services. Neto and Chelsea have also agreed on personal terms, and he will pen a six-year contract with the option of an additional year.
Since joining Wolves in 2019, Neto has made 135 appearances while scoring 14 goals and had an excellent campaign in the 2023/24 season. He will join the likes of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling as Chelsea’s wide attacking options.
Neto will become Chelsea’s ninth signing of the summer after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen, Omari Kellyman, Aaron Anselmino, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo joined Enzo Maresca’s squad this season.
