OFFICIAL: West Ham announce Jean-Clair Todibo transfer
The Hammers have completed the signing of French defender Jean-Clair Todibo from Ligue 1 club OGC Nice on a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent next summer.
The Frenchman who underwent a medical after traveling to London on Friday, had three years left on his contract with Nice. Juventus were supposedly the front-runners in the defender’s signature, but Todibo had already personal terms with the London giants.
The French Guiana-born player will wear the No. 25 shirt for West Ham in the upcoming season and the Londoners have the option to make the deal permanent for €32m in 2025.
