OFFICIAL: Djordje Petrović completes his loan move RC Strasbourg

Chelsea has confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic on a season-long loan move to French club RC Strasbourg. The Serbian managed to play 31 matches across all competitions under Mauricio Pochettino last season.

It is understood that the goalkeeper has also agreed on new terms with Chelsea ahead of his loan switch. His move to Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg does not include the option for a permanent transfer.

Djordje Petrovic was a dependable performer in his debut season for the West London giants after He was signed from New England Revolution for £14m last summer. He will now follow fellow goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in leaving the club.
