OFFICIAL: Chelsea re-sign Joao Felix on a six-year contract

The 24-year-old winger has successfully completed his return to Stamford Bridge for a fee believed to be in the region of £42m plus £4.3m in add-ons. Felix has penned a six-year contract with the option of an additional year.

Felix spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Chelsea where he scored four goals in 16 Premier League appearances. He spent the last season on loan at Barcelona where he managed to score 10 goals in 44 appearances.

Felix said: “I’m really happy to be back at Chelsea and I can’t wait to get started. I can see some familiar faces from the last time I was here, which is always nice.

“I loved my time here before and I told my friends and family that I’d love to return to the Premier League one day. To do that with Chelsea is a great feeling and I’m excited to be back.”
