Official: Al Hilal terminates Neymar Jr contract amid Santos transfer link

The Saudi Pro League champions, Al Hilal have terminated the contract of their Brazilian star forward Neymar Jr following a mutual agreement between both parties. The 32-year-old has been linked with a move to his boyhood club Santos FC

The former Barcelona forward’s turmoil spell marred with injury woes finally marks its conclusion in the Middle East after only playing 7 matches for them, since joining the SPL outfit in the summer of 2023 from French giants Pairs Saint Germain.

The Saudi club posted on X, “Al Hilal and Neymar agree to terminate contract by Mutual consent”, the statement read, “The club expresses its thanks and appreciation to Neymar for what he has provided throughout his career with Al-Hilal, and wishes the player success in his career.”
