Nottingham Forest vs Wolves Player Ratings: It’s All Square between Forrest & Wolves at City Ground
Nottingham Forest played a hard-fought 1-1 draw against West Midland rivals Wolves at the City ground on Saturday in the early evening kick-off. The Visitors picked up their first point of the Premier League 2024-25 season following two consecutive defeats. While the Reds fumbled their early lead that came from Chris Wood within just two minutes following a ferocious strike from Jean-Ricner Bellegarde in the 12th minute.

Matz Sels (6.2/10): Fair performance from the gloves of the Belgian keeper, though didn’t do much about the perfect strike of Bellegarde.
Defenders
Nico Williams (6.5/10): put in a good effort in both defence and regularly went to advanced positions as a right full-back, even registering a shot.
Nikola Milenković (7/10): A solid start of Premier League endeavors looked well settled though outpaced on occasions.
Murillo (7.5/10): The Brazilian centre-back was another bright star for Hosts making crucial blocks in the back-line and being excellent on the ball.
Ola Aina (7.8/10): Aina was lively on the left channel constantly moving down the side and creating serious attack threats.
Midfielders
Ibrahim Sangaré (7.4/10): looked shaky at times, but did the job at Pivot role got booked in the first half.
Elliot Anderson (8/10): Anderson had an excellent game provided the assists and dominated the midfield zone.
Anthony Elanga (6.5/10): made good use of explosive pace and runs. However, needed more composure at times.
Callum Hudson Odoi (7/10): Another fine outing from Odoi as wide midfielders posed threats with his game.
Morgan Gibbs-White (7/10): Superb shift with three shots and as many chance creation the skipper did his part.
Forwards
Chris Wood (7.5/10): the New Zealand International didn’t disappoint with his well-executed goal and could have had more.

Sam Johnstone (7.2/10): Transfer deadline signing, Sam Johnstone made an instant impact making some solid saves.
Defenders
Nelson Semedo (7.2/10): A well-balanced performance from the Portuguese full-back on the right side of defence.
Yerson Mosquera (6.9/10) Colombian made some key blocks and interceptions, while playing and also showed progressive play.
Craig Dawson (7.5/10): Dawson’s solid presence in the backline alongside Mosquera tightens the defence. Made several passes into the final third and spammed long balls.
Toti Gomes (7.1/10): Commendable outing as left-back, showed his skills in winning duels and challenges along with good clearances.
Midfielders
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (7.5/10): A marvellous striker to put his side level, besides that he was good enough.
João Gomes (6.4/10): Gomes didn’t have a good game, got dribbled past on numerous occasions failed to leave a mark.
Mario Lemina (8/10): Assist provider for the equaliser and played a leading role in the midfield as the captain.
Rayan Aït-Nouri (6.6/10): Algerian International only clocked 60 minutes but managed to take two shots at goals.
Matheus Cunha (7/10): Cunha needs to revert to the striker position, as the number 10 role isn’t quite working for him. Though he did justice to his duty.
Forwards
Jørgen Strand Larsen (6.4/10): Despite player, 86 minutes couldn’t register a shot on target, and needed to improve his game to lead the line.
