Nottingham Forest Sign Nikola Milenkovic for £12m

Nikola Milenkovic has officially joined Nottingham Forest on a contract until June 2029. Forest paid Fiorentina £12 million for the defender, who are now set to replace him with Marin Pongracic.

Forest, looking to strengthen their defence after selling Moussa Niakhate to Lyon, plan to pair Milenkovic with Murillo, their last season’s player of the year, in the centre of defence.

Milenkovic, a key player for Fiorentina, was instrumental in their journey to the Europa Conference League finals in 2023 and 2024. The 26-year-old also played every minute of Serbia’s group-stage matches at this summer’s European Championship, even though they did not advance to the knockout stages.
