Neymar Welcomes Baby No. 3, a New Addition to the Family
Brazilian soccer star Neymar has welcomed a new baby girl named Helena which marking his third child. The joyous news was shared on July 19 through Neymar’s Instagram with heartwarming photos of the newborn in the hospital. “Helena” – Neymar captioned his post alongside the date “03/07/2024.”
The 32-year-old Neymar already has two other children: son Davi Lucca (12) with ex-Carolina Dantas and daughter Mavie (9 months) with former girlfriend Bruna Biancardi. In the touching photos, Neymar’s son Davi Lucca is seen meeting his baby sister holding her gently in his lap.
Model Amanda Kimberlly who had been the subject of speculation regarding her pregnancy confirmed Helena’s arrival on the same day.
She expressed her happiness on social media sharing a glimpse into a white-and-gold celebration for Helena held on July 7.
“We celebrated Helena’s arrival with a beautiful reception made with lots of love and care!” Amanda wrote.
A Complex Personal Life
Helena’s birth comes less than nine months after Neymar and Bruna Biancardi welcomed their daughter Mavie on October 6, 2023. The couple who started their public relationship in April 2022 split just two months after Mavie’s birth amidst rumors of Neymar’s infidelity.
Bruna addressed the breakup on her Instagram in November, stating,
“This is a private matter, but as I am exposed to news, assumptions, and jokes on a daily basis, I inform you that I am not in a relationship.”
Neymar had previously acknowledged the allegations and apologized to Bruna publicly.
“I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this and how much you want to be by my side,” he wrote in June. “Bru, I already apologized for my mistakes, for unnecessary exposure, but I feel obligated to come publicly reaffirm that.”
Despite the turbulence, Neymar has continued to express admiration for Bruna. On her birthday in April he posted a heartfelt message on Instagram calling her “amazing” and wishing her well.
