Newcastle United are reportedly set to cool down their interest in Marc Guehi after seeing their fourth bid rejected. The Magpies had tabled a bid worth £60 million with another £5 million in add-ons, but Crystal Palace have apparently turned that down too.

Now, according to Daily Mail reporter Sami Mokbel (via Transfer News Live on X), Newcastle are considering walking away from the deal. That would likely mean Guehi staying put at the Selhurst Park Stadium for another season. The centre-back joined the Eagles in 2021 from Chelsea after spending two seasons on loan at Swansea City, and has amassed 111 appearances in all competitions for Palace.
