Newcastle United open talks with Crystal Palace for Marc Guehi: Reports

As per David Ornstein, Newcastle United have opened talks with Crystal Palace to sign Marc Guehi. Guehi has drawn attention with his recent bright performances and was a mainstay in England’s starting XI during Euro 2024. He missed one game due to suspension but started all the other six matches.

Palace are reportedly asked for 65 million pounds to sell Guehi this summer. Guehi has become one of the Premier League’s top defenders and also helped England reach the Euro 2024 final. Ornstein wrote about Newcastle’s interest in Guehi:

Newcastle are reportedly the first club to make an official approach for Guehi. The central defender has a contract until 2026 at Selhurst Park.
