New York City 1-1 Inter Miami Player Ratings as both teams settle for a draw

New York City FC scored a last-minute goal to secure a point and spoil the Lionel Messi-centric party at Yankee Stadium. They dominated from the beginning of the game as Inter Miami struggled to get their footing in the game but themselves behind after Leonardo Campana opened the scoring for the Herons. The visitors kept knocking on the door until they found their way out.

Lionel Messi capped a very disappointing performance in the game whereas Santiago Rodriguez was outstanding on the right side of the pitch as he was also the creator of the stoppage-time equaliser from James Sands. NYCFC extended their winless streak to nine games but they capped a very improved performance.
