Napoli approach Manchester United for midfielder Scott McTominay

The Serie A giants are reportedly in talks over a potential deal for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay who has been heavily linked with an exit in this summer transfer window. United are looking for his permanent departure and are looking for somewhere between £25 million and £30 million.

Other European clubs such as Fulham and Galatasaray have also taken an interest in the Scotland international with the new season about to get underway. The 27-year-old has entered the final year of his contract and has scored 10 goals last season.

However, Napoli would prefer a loan deal for McTominay as they are unwilling to match United’s asking price of £25-30m.
