Mourinho desperate to sign Barcelona star Gundogan

According to Spanish news outlet Sport, new Fenerbahçe manager Jose Mourinho is desperate to sign Barcelona’s Ilkay Gundogan. Barcelona only signed the midfielder on a free last season but given his wages, they are open to selling him.

Gundogan is Turkish by origin and has entertained talk of a move to the country of late. Barcelona’s new manager Hansi Flick however said that he has spoken to Gundogan and expects the 33 year old to stay at the club.
