More updates on Wolves loan offer for Aaron Ramsdale

Wolves have made an offer to sign Arsenal outcast Aaron Ramsdale on loan with an obligation to buy next summer. The England international has been heavily linked with an exit after he lost his No.1 spot to David Raya last summer. The Gunners are keen to offload the English goalkeeper but have struggled to find potential suitors while previously turning down a loan move from Ajax. Wolves are ready to cover a major part of Ramsdale’s salary in order to sanction a move.

Further new updates from The Athletic state that Arsenal would rather sell Ramsdale than let him leave on a temporary basis and recently turned down an approach from Ajax, while the likes of Southampton have also expressed an interest. The 26-year-old England international is under contract until 2026 and his terms can be extended by 12 months, however a move is being sought by Arsenal and Ramsdale after David Raya established himself as first choice. Should Ramsdale exit, Arsenal have targeted Espanyol’s Joan Garcia as a possible replacement.
