Monaco interested in Barcelona defender Mikayil Faye

The Ligue 1 giants are reportedly interested in 20-year-old defender Mikayil Faye, who is not considered in Hansi Flick’s plans for the upcoming season. Monaco have opened talks with the player’s representatives over a possible move in this summer.

But, this is not the first time that the young defender has been linked with a move. Earlier this summer, Porto were interested in the youngster, but were not willing to match Barcelona’s €15m asking price set for the Senegalese defender.

Another Ligue 1 club, Nice have also initiated talks with the player’s representatives and an exit is surely on the cards for the Senegal international.
