Moises Caicedo goal: Ecuadorian scores from the halfway line against Bournemouth
Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo has scored a spectacular goal in the final league game of the season against Bournemouth. Caicedo scored from the halfway line in the 17th minute to open the scoring for his team.
Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto came way out of his line to stop a Chelsea attack. His clearance, however, fell straight to Caicedo. He still had a lot to do and found the back of the net in an emphatic manner.

Chelsea coach Mauricio Pochettino expects Moises Caicedo to get better next season
Chelsea signed Moises Caicedo for a record transfer fee in the summer. Caicedo, however, has often been criticized for his performances. The midfielder, though, has shown signs of improvement recently. Pochettino expects the player to further improve next season. He said (via Mirror):
“I expect more from him even if he is doing well. I think next season I have no doubt he will be much better. Now he knows what it means to play for Chelsea, all of the pressure off. The players believe in the way that we work and they agree in the way we want to apply our philosophy and the way to play and that is fantastic.”
With Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea have a midfield core of young players. Both big money signings are promising and could turn out to be big players in the future.
