Liverpool could let Mohamed Salah leave for free in the summer: Reports
According to journalist Christian Falk, Liverpool could allow Mohamed Salah to move to Saudi Pro League for free in the summer.
Salah’s contract with the Reds is set to expire in 2025 and with him turning 32 in the summer, a departure from Anfield could be on the cards. Saudi Arabian clubs are highly interested in signing the Egyptian winger. Al-Ittihad also put in a massive £150 million bid last summer but it was rejected.
However, Liverpool could now be open to parting ways with the club legend. Reporting about the same, Christian Falk said:
“Mo Salah might go to Saudi Arabia. In the summer there was an offer, but Liverpool are still not sure whether to let their superstar go. I’ve heard that Liverpool can even imagine letting him go on a free transfer as they’ve already made their money back from what they paid Roma for him.”
Salah has been one of the greatest players ever in the Reds’ history. He joined the club from AS Roma back in 2017 and has since scored 204 goals and provided 88 assists in 332 games across competitions.
Salah has helped Liverpool win every trophy available, including the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League.

The Egyptian winger has been in great form this season as well, scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists in 27 games across competitions. He has helped the Reds compete in four competitions.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will face Chelsea in the EFL Cup final and Southampton in the FA Cup fifth round. They are also at the top of the Premier League table after 24 games and have also reached the UEFA Europa League Round of 16.
