Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly a huge admirer of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who has been linked with the North London giants for this entire summer. The Spanish coach wants a wide forward instead of a traditional No. 9, a specific trait that Isak fits perfectly.

But, the Magpies are reluctant to sell the Swedish forward and Arsenal were not prepared to get involved in a long-running saga and swiftly moved away from any possible move. Mikel Arteta is now seeking alternative options to bolster his attack for the upcoming season.
