Premier League Clubs Eye Vasco da Gama Midfielder Marlon Gomes Amidst European Interest
In the latest transfer buzz, several English Premier League clubs have shown keen interest in Marlon Gomes, the highly-talented Brazilian midfielder currently with Vasco da Gama.
Football insider Fabrizio Romano revealed the potential move without specifying the participating Premier League clubs. The 20-year-old midfielder, a product of Novos Talentos, may make a move to the Premier League as early as January if a compelling offer arises.
Having spent the last six years with Vasco da Gama, Gomes has showcased his skills in 45 first-team matches, contributing with two goals and three assists. Notably, he has also represented Brazil at the U-23 national level.
While his current contract with Vasco da Gama extends until the end of 2026, Gomes’ market value is estimated at six million euros.
