Marcus Rashford firm on Manchester United Stay Amid Speculation and Managerial Tensions
Despite having a terrible season and Paris Saint-Germain showing interest in him, Marcus Rashford is reportedly going to oppose any efforts by Manchester United to trade him.

In the midst of talks of a possible United team makeover, The Sun reports that selling Rashford has become a realistic option. A possible sale is in line with INEOS’ long-term financial objectives because 100% of the profit from trading homegrown players goes towards ensuring compliance with Financial Fair Play (FFP) standards.
According to the source, PSG are one of the few teams that could realistically match Rashford’s £80 million ($100 million) valuation and can also agree to his significant personal requirements, especially if they want to replace Kylian Mbappe, who could leave in the summer.
Despite Rashford’s struggles on the pitch this season, with only eight goals to his name, United’s decision-makers maintain faith in his potential and investment, having secured him with a lucrative contract extension until 2028.
Nevertheless, there’s an acknowledgement that Rashford must improve his performance significantly to justify his place in the team.
While PSG emerges as a potential destination for Rashford, with the French club reportedly willing to meet his valuation and wage demands, the Englishman’s loyalty to United remains unwavering.
His reluctance to leave is further reinforced by his contentment with life in Manchester and his significant weekly wage of £325,000.
What’s Next In Line for Rashford?
However, Rashford’s relationship with both fans and manager Erik ten Hag appears strained. Fan frustration was evident during the FA Cup semi-final, while reported tensions between Rashford and ten Hag stem from off-pitch incidents and alleged disregard for the manager’s warnings regarding conduct.
Despite the challenges, Rashford remains focused on his immediate goals, including finishing the current season on a high note and earning a place in England’s Euro 2024 squad.
With five matches remaining, including an upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City, Rashford has the opportunity to silence critics and reaffirm his value to both United and the national team.
