Manchester United hosted Liverpool at Old Trafford in Matchweek 32. The guest led first through Luis Diaz’s goal in the first half which was cancelled off by Bruno Fernandes’ goal in the second half. Kobbie Mainoo then got United in the lead before Mohamed Salah sealed a draw with his penalty.
Liverpool have to win all the seven remaining games if they want to clinch the title as a tribute to Jurgen Klopp who leaves at the end of the season. On the other hand, United’s homework is not done yet as they still have to fight for their spot in order to secure European football next season.
