Manchester United told to seal Ivan Toney transfer
Manchester United have been told to make a move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney, who is reportedly valued at around £50m and has attracted heavy interest from Saudi Arabia this summer.
Pundit and former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy believes Toney would be more reliable in front of goal than Rasmus Hojlund and new signing Joshua Zirkzee. He believes the Brentford man could be a quality acquisition for Man Utd this summer.
Toney enjoyed his best campaign with the Bees in the 2022/23 season, where he bagged 20 goals in the Premier League. The 28-year-old striker has been hugely impressive during his time at Brentford, scoring 72 goals in 141 appearances.
