Manchester United plotting transfer for a second Bayern Munich defender
The Red Devils are presently assessing a move for Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui who has previously worked with Erik ten Hag during his four-year spell at Ajax.
Mazraoui is reportedly on top of Manchester United’s wish-list this summer due to growing uncertainty over Wan Bissaka’s future this summer. The Moroccan international arrived in Bavaria in the summer of 2022 as a free agent, but failed to hit the ground running at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern were initially demanding €30 million for the outcast defender, but will agree to settle for a free in the region of €20-25 million. Mazraoui’s contract with the Bundesliga giants expires in the summer of 2026. But, Manchester United believe Mazraoui is valued at €15-20 million.
