Manchester United interested in signing free agent Mario Hermoso

The Red Devils are reportedly plotting a move for former Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso, who has become a free agent after his recent departure from the club. United are keen to add a few defensive reinforcements following Leny Yoro’s unfortunate injury in the pre-season.

Hermoso, a five-time Spanish international, is in talks with several clubs over a potential deal and reportedly seeks a salary of €6 million gross for a three-year period. United have initiated contact with the versatile defender, who can be the perfect backup to Lisandro Martinez too on the left side of the defence.
