Manchester United agree personal terms with PSG star
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) midfielder Manuel Ugarte has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Manchester United for a potential summer transfer.
The Red Devils have completed two signings this summer – Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Leny Yoro from Lille. As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ugarte has the same agent as Yoro – Jorge Mendes.
The two parties are trying to make a move possible this summer. Ugarte will be willing to join United despite their lack of UEFA Champions League football. They finished eighth in the Premier League last season, but secured Europa League football after winning the FA Cup.
Ugarte, meanwhile, joined PSG from Sporting CP just last summer. He made 37 appearances across competitions, registering three assists. His contract with the Parisians expires in 2028. Hence, he’s likely to cost a big fortune.
United will now continue talks with PSG for a potential transfer. Some other clubs have also inquired about the Uruguayan midfielder.
