Manchester City 1-2 Manchester United: Player Ratings as Fernandes and Diallo score late to grab dramatic win for the Red Devils

Manchester City hosted Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday, December 15 and fell to a 2-1 defeat against their cross-town rivals.

The hosts made a decent start to a game in which neither side looked sharp in the beginning. However, City were slightly better off than United and grabbed the lead after 36 minutes as Josko Gvardiol put them in front. The visitors could not create much and went into the break a goal down.

Both Pep Guardiola and Ruben Amorim made a host of changes in the second period, but things only favoured the latter, that too late in the game. Bruno Fernandes converted a spot-kick to level the game in the 88th minute after Matheus Nunes conceded it. Amad Diallo then grabbed a winner in dramatic fashion to make it 2-1 in the 90th minute.

On that note, let’s take a look at the player ratings.
