Manchester City sign former Chelsea academy talent Ryan McAidoo: Fabrizio Romano

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester City has sealed a deal to sign former Chelsea academy talent Ryan McAidoo. The 2008-born midfielder left Chelsea’s academy this summer. He has now pledged his future to Man City in a long-term deal. Romano reported on X:

“Manchester City have completed deal to sign talent Ryan McAidoo who’s left Chelsea Academy this summer. 2008 born gem signs for #MCFC on long term deal, marquee signing for City Academy; big one for Thomas Krucken and Sam Fagbemi.”

Manchester City have had several top young talents come out of their academy in recent years. Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, and more have been through City’s academy. Whether McAidoo can become the next big thing remains to be seen.
