The Sun reports that Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has pocketed an eye-watering 12 million GBP through image rights in the 2023 calendar year. The Norwegian is arguably the most prolific goalscorer in world football at the moment. Apart from his on-pitch accolades, Haaland is expanding his business ventures.

The aforementioned source has gotten hold of accounts filed for Erling Haaland’s company, York Promotion. They claim Haaland already has received 7 million GBP in his company’s banks while the remaining 5 million GBP is pending. As a result of his spectacular on-field performances, Haaland is now a sought-after commercial entity. The towering striker is certainly making the most of it through well-planned avenues.
Haaland runs his company alongside his father Alf-Inge Haaland, who also played for the Cityzens during his professional career. Julia Hoyle, an associate of Haaland’s former agent late Mino Raiola, is a tax accountant of the company. York Promotions have reportedly invested 2.1 million GBP in two planes. Haaland also has a 10-year deal with US sports apparel company Nike, which is worth 200 million GBP.
The Norwegian, meanwhile, earns approximately 1.2 million GBP monthly in wages from Manchester City. Haaland, a perfectionist in his professional career, is also expanding his business means to good effect.
